Made it to Bangkok […and it only took 16 hours]!

If you follow me on social media, then you know my train left 6.5 hours behind schedule. You also know that I was quite pleased by this delay because it provided me with a few extra stolen hours to close of this 7 month chapter of Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand living.

Rather than wait a few infernal hours at the train station feeling stranded in a city that I’ve started to refer lightly to as “home,” I decided to better use my time by going to SheDance at The Yoga Tree.

THRILL SEEKER

Today is the five year anniversary of the death of someone very special to me.

My Uncle Ronnie was no ordinary Uncle–nor ordinary man for that matter.

He was a wild child, an outdoorsman, a fiercely independent thinker, a fiercely loyal and caring friend. In his own unique lexicon he as a “THRILL SEEKER”–always in capital letters, always a complete phrase.

Ronnie’s bike was a yamaha, but you get the idea…

Recipe for Adventure

Description:

This is a well-researched recipe for succulent adventure in a tropical local. For it you will need some basic ingredients (motorbikes) and some selective ingredients (Brazilian, Czech). In either case you should be able to locate these ingredients or suitably similar substitutes in most budget hotels.

If you follow this quick-adventure recipe you will arrive at a gorgeous, picturesque tropical beach with one flat tire, a mighty thirst, slight sunburn and encased in a layer of very thick brown dust. Improvisation and experimentation is encouraged!
